We arrived late friday night at a friends cabin up in the hills of the Nantahala National Forest. For the past couple of weeks I have been reading and watching and dreaming about running Tallulah Gorge. My stomach was already in knots a week before the trip. I had to stop watching videos and reading blogs and info about the river because it was becoming an obsession.
