- I am a pretty new paddler, only have been kayaking about a year. My husband and I started together, and it has become something we really like to do together, even though he usually boats the harder stuff :) We live in Washington state, where the water is usually clear and beautiful - if a little cold.... I really enjoy kayaking, and hope to get better this season -maybe even huck a waterfall :) When I'm not boating I teach 7th grade math, and I am 27 years old.
