I don't think work can get any more stressful, at least I hope not. I threw my hands up today and cut out early to head to the lower green for a late afternoon on the river. After the swim, two very unsuccessful roll sessions and job pressures, I was stiff in my boat. The way I bumped down the river showed just how uptight I was. About half way down I finally started to relax and enjoy the ride. It is amazing how much more responsive a kayak is when you are relaxed.

Its 45F and gust up to 50mph and Bruce, Mason and I decide to go to the Tuck (2050cfs, 4.52ft). It was my first time on the river. We had a great run and decided it was early and why drive 1.5 hours each way to paddle 1.5 hours so we squeezed in a second run. It was a great idea until I got tired and quick paying attention. Today seemed like spring so I skipped out on work early and headed to the lower green with Bruce. I paddled the old dagger because I have not got a new skirt for the piranha yet. It was a great day on the river we got some good practice in and saw a big blue herring. The water was really cold considering UPS has my drytop.
