About Me:: Hey everyone, ok so my name is Charlie Simmons, i live and go to school in Auburn alabama.I paddle for Wavesport kayaks, ShredReady helmets, BomberGear, SkirtworkS,and Ophion Paddles. Im a senior in Production Horticulture, and finishing my minor in entomology. I love the OUTDOORS!! Especially whitewater kayaking. Either playboating or Creeking, im always up for a float trip. I cant seem to stop. But all in all i try to spend as much time with the people that make me happy at the places that make me the most happy, the woods. I think/hope to work for the National Park services when i first get out of school. Not only being able to utilize my horticulture degree, but also have a chance to accel in areas like climbing and mountaineering. A Glory dream of mine is to open a high adventure shop- driven towards expiditionary outings; climbing, paddling, biking,etc.. I've had the privalage to have worked/run high adventure camp programs, wich has allowed me get a taste of what its like to work where you love everyday, and look forward to that in the future!!!
I am a Kayaking/Canoeing instructor
and am soon to be co moderator of www.auburnkayaker.com
hopefully to help accel the paddling community in the college town where i first learned.
