- Have boated since '79, often above my skills, and have amassed both fantastic experiences and moments others would like to forget. I"m working on being a bit more realistic these days and love paddling in the Washington, DC area. That we are able to drop Class V, surf big volume waves and / or find good breaking wave play 365 days a year, twelve miles from the White House - pretty amazing. I guess my markers are that I have been squirting since before there were boats small enough to fit me, can claim the 2nd female descents of the NFork Payette and Niagara Gorge, and the first (fd) of the entire Green Narrows (Woody, Psycho and Bob McD went down the day before).
