Hi Aaron! Missoula IS an amazing place--that's why I finally decided to make it my home. Pretty much any outdoor activity you do can be done from Missoula. Are you thinking of coming here permanently or just for the summer? Finding a place (I'm assuming you are talking about renting--if not, let me know) in the summer should be very easy as the college students will have gone home for the season and there will be a lot of vacancies. If you need help with figuring out what part of town to live in, I can help. As for jobs, again, that depends on what you are looking for and if it is part time/full-time and/or just for the summer. There will be no shortage of low-paying bartender/waiter, retail, etc. type jobs. Right now, there are also a lot of outdoor youth counseling and weed management type jobs that I've seen in the paper. Missoula suffers from consistently underpaying employees but having a high cost of living. If you are lucky enough to find a great job, then you've got it made and Missoula will be fantastic to live in. It takes a lot of patience, some luck and persistence to find a good job. What type are you looking for? That would help give me a better idea of whether or not it will be difficult. Give me a call if I can help! 406-544-0747 is my cell. Take care and good luck!
