"Sociable Affair "Number 5

The Paddlers for Parts Association based in Yellowknife,NWT, Canada is pleased to annouce their upcoming "Sociable Affair". This is the fifth year they will be hosting this 3 day event and we invited everyone that may be in the area to drop buy for a quick paddle and whatever else we may get up to. The location is the Yellowknife River Bridge Day use area and the dates are July 25/26/27/2008. We will have roughly ten paddle craft including canoes and kayaks and even a Zodiac with a 20 hp. kicker to play with. This year we hope to try slack lining and Greenlandic rope games and rescue skills will be practiced. The usual kayak and canoe games and just about anything that folks want to try.
Last year the event was fairly well attended but this year we hope to see even more folks out there. Should any of you be in Yellowknife, please drop in and get wet. Cheers, Greg
